Research profile and guiding principles
The examination of international current research questions of social and cultural relevance plays a central role. It strengthens Graz as a location in its local, national and international visibility within the academic world. The research interests are broadly diversified and thus reflect the diversity of the department's content. In the sense of a research-led approach, teaching also benefits from this: the knowledge gained in the research foci flows directly into teaching and familiarizes students with current research problems.
