Correspondence and dialogs

Under the title Correspondences and Dialogues , current, highly charged socio-political topics are dealt with - varying every two years - and located in practical-artistic realization and scientific-theoretical situating. The Correspondences and Dialogues react to global political and social events and conditions, thus communicating the work focus areas I, II and III of the department. In this way, the creative and academic potential of Styria and the Graz urban area is taken up, internationally networked and made visible. The final result can take a wide variety of forms and be presented in the form of an evening of discussion, an academic lecture, a reading, a performance or a participatory art project in the spirit of Relational Aesthetics.

The first event of the Correspondences, Correspondences I: Art - "Environmental Justice" - Sustainable Action, was held by the Center for Contemporary Art as a four-day festival from 11 to 14 May 2022 at Kunsthaus Graz and HALLE FÜR KUNST Steiermark.

The first series of dialogues, Dialogues I: Art - Political Responsibility - Social Justice , took place in cooperation with the Grazer Kunstverein on May 16, 17, 18 and 21, 2022, on the premises of the Grazer Kunstverein.
