From 17 to 18 May 2024, an exchange between international musicologists took place as part of the "Konversatorium" course taught by Prof. Susanne Kogler and PD Dr. Cristina Scuderi. Students from Graz, Ljubljana and Zagreb were given the opportunity to present current musicological topics and answer questions in a subsequent discussion with the audience.

For example, new research projects such as the FWF-funded project "Sound as Score" were presented, ethnomusicological questions about musicians from Rümania and the almost forgotten wooden flute Haloška žvegla were asked, the role of music in autism was examined in the form of qualitative research and Hanna Kulenty's understanding of "Polyphony of Arcs" was explained in more detail. This was followed by a joint dinner and an informative and enjoyable night-time tour of Ljubljana by the Slovenian students.

Participating students of the University of Graz:

Cornelia Picej, Desiree Kirschenhofer-Binder, Julian Dorninger, Stefanie Liang, Virgina Maia Bernardoni
