The Department of Arts and Musicology was represented again in 2025

The Department of Arts and Musicology was once again represented at the Open Day, which took place last week on 24 April 2025. In the information area, Irene Biancardi and Ulrike Fischer (Section of Musicology) as well as Ella Binder and Elke Zöhrer (Section of Art History) presented the two degree programmes to numerous interested students. In the early afternoon, Associate Professor Dr Saskia Jaszoltowski gave a well-attended introductory lecture on the topic of "Seeing - Hearing - Understanding".

The Austrian Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ÖGE 18) sees itself as a discussion and publication platform that brings together researchers, students and those interested in the Austrian history of the long 18th century. It promotes dialogue between academia and society and supports local and international research projects in order to enable cross-border perspectives on the 18th century.
