Millions of fans around the world will celebrate the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday. For the first time, viewers who do not live in one of the participating countries will also be able to vote.

Why does the biggest music competition fascinate a global audience? How should the Eurovision Song Contest be organized in the future?

Will Germany ever make it back to one of the top places? And how political is the ESC today?
