Institute Café Musicology, Wed, 01.10., from 10 a.m.

The Section of Arts will present the study programme of Art History at the Welcome Week. On Wednesday, 24 September 2025, from 11:00 - 12:30, an institute café will be organised in front of the department's library (Universitätsplatz III/2), where members of the department will be present. Students are cordially invited to ask for information about studying in a relaxed atmosphere and to get to know the department's library.

On Wed, 01.10.2025, the Section of Musicology get-together will organise from 10 a.m. as part of the introductory course "Musicological Working Techniques" and afterwards. The course starts at 10 a.m. in HS 23.02, beginning with some organisational information about the course, followed by an introduction to the institute and the institute members and then you will have the opportunity to get to know both the institute members present and the other students in the foyer over coffee and cake (until approx. 12 noon). Mrs Jaszoltowski, as deputy CuKo chairwoman, will of course also be available to answer students' questions, especially with regard to the new BA curriculum. Our new students are cordially invited to ask for information about the musicology programme in a relaxed atmosphere and to get to know the rooms on the first floor, such as the library, secretariat or student area, or to get tips from more advanced students.
