Ringvorlesung „Museen neu denken – Museen neu gestalten“

 


Verstaubte Sammlung, elitäre Wunderkammer oder multimedialer Erlebnisort: Museen sind heute mehr als nur eine Ausstellung von Objekten. „Es wird zunehmend auf Partizipation gesetzt“, weiß Kunsthistorikerin Dr. Bernadette Biedermann. Gemeinsam mit Kollegin Dr. Susanne König-Lein vom Institut für Kunstgeschichte initiierte sie die Ringvorlesung „Museen neu denken – Museen neu gestalten“, die im Sommersemester 2014 sowohl von allen Studierenden als auch dem interessierten Publikum offen steht. Die Reihe ist auch Teil des im Bachelor-Bereich zertifizierbaren Programms „Museumsmanagement“.

„Es ist eine spannende Ergänzung zum klassischen Lehrveranstaltungsangebot“, sagte Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Polaschek, Vizerektor für Studium und Lehre, im Rahmen der ersten Vorlesung am 6. März 2014.
An zwölf weiteren Vorträgen, immer donnerstags von 17 bis 18 Uhr im Hörsaal 01.15 im 1. Stock des Hauptgebäudes, referieren anerkannte Expertinnen über Themen von der Entwicklung über neue Methoden bis hin zu Sammlungsstrategien.
